How to Volunteer

Open the words list, if your language has this symbol that means the language already has audio and does not need volunteering at the moment. You can help in other ways here.
If your language does not have this symbol , then please keep on reading the rest of the instruction.
You need to have a microphone and a recording software such as Audacity.
After visiting this page and choosing your language.
Open the recording software and start recording the list of words.
Say each word in English first, then in your native language.
When done, save it as .mp3 or .wav. and email it to us at
Once we receive your recording we will upload it to our website in a way that allows visitors to hear the pronunciation of the word by clicking on that word.
If you don't prefer doing the above steps, you can also choose a different way to help here.

Note: If you use Audacity program, make sure you save your recorded voice by pressing
File > Export. If you don't want to download the program. Open the "Sound Recorder" which already exists in your computer, go to Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> Entertainment and choose Sound Recorder.
