Slovak Negation

Learning the Slovak Negation displayed below is vital to the language. Slovak negation is the process that turns an affirmative statement (I am happy) into its opposite denial (I am not happy).

Grammar Tips:

In Slovak, negation can be made simply by placing prefix "Ne-" before the main verb. But sometimes a double negative is required. "Ne-" is the most common negative.

Nerob to.  (Don’t do it.).

Nemajú nič na prácu (they don't have anything to do – Double Negative).

Nepáči sa mi to. (I don't like it)
