Marathi Pronouns
Learning the Marathi Pronouns is very important because its structure is used in every day conversation. The more you master it the more you get closer to mastering the Marathi language. But first we need to know what the role of Pronouns is in the structure of the grammar in Marathi.
Marathi pronouns include personal pronouns (refer to the persons speaking, the persons spoken to, or the persons or things spoken about), indefinite pronouns, relative pronouns (connect parts of sentences) and reciprocal or reflexive pronouns (in which the object of a verb is being acted on by verb's subject).

English personal pronouns are (I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they), and (me,
you, him, her, it, us, you, them), In Marathi, the personal pronouns are:
Me… (I), tu… (you), to… (he), ti… (she),
aamhi… (we), te… (they masc.), tya… (they fem.)
Examples:
me shikato/shikate (I
learn), tu shik (you learn), to shikato (he learns), ti shikate (she learns), tumhi shika (you learn
[polite]), aamhi shikato (we learn), tumhi shika (you learn [plural]),
te shikatat (they learn), aapan shika(you learn [polite]).
Indirect
Object Pronouns:
Indirect
object pronouns are words that replace the indirect object, which is usually a
person.
mala (me), tula (you), tyala,tila (him, her), aapan you (formal), aapan (us), tu (you), te,tyana (them):
Examples:
Mala pustak de (give me the book). Me tujhyavar prem karato/karate(I love you).
Possessive
Pronouns:
majha (mine masc.), majhi (mine fem.), majhe (mine, plural masc.), majhya (mine, plural fem.), tujha/tujhi (yours), tyacha/ticha (his, hers), aapala (ours), tyancha/tyanchi (theirs).
